Sentinella cyberprotection
Initially designed to detect suspicious computer traffic, SENTINELLA is a cyber protection tool that also identifies machine malfunctions or potential abnormal behavior.
For example, using this tool, we discovered suspicious traffic on our internal network, caused by a service provider who was routing it through the MPLS it managed... claiming it was normal traffic, network packets... "for security!" (according to its own words).
However, data analysis showed that it was abnormal and dangerous traffic that, moreover, had not been detected by any other security tool.
Due to a lack of justification, the said service provider had the audacity to claim that its other clients weren't monitoring their internal networks. But, we do... thankfully! Because it's necessary, and very easy with SENTINELLA, which listens tirelessly 24/7/365, for real-time detection or forensic analysis.
Because SENTINELLA is a software probe that listens to all computer frames and records traces.
Unlike many products that are often "mechanically complex," managed in SaaS mode, SENTINELLA allows IT administrators to "see the invisible" as easily as with a thermal camera, without requiring extraordinary skills, simply, via a clear interface.
Indeed, hackers no longer wait for nightfall, or on Sundays at Mass. Now, they attack even in broad daylight, during business hours, when IT professionals are still at their desks. And thanks to SENTINELLA, we can easily measure computer intrusion attempts, which have recently regularly peaked at over a hundred attempts per second.
